Verinite to support Cards Tokenisation project for client bank in Kuwait

Verinite is pleased to announce signing of its 2nd client in Kuwait. Client is the youngest conventional Bank and second largest by assets in Kuwait, with a significant focus on the corporate and financial institutions sectors, as well as having a growing retail, and private bank customer base.

Client is planning to launch new wallet services for its customer to enable secure usage of cards on digital channel. The platform will be compliant with MDES and VTS norms to ensure both Visa and MasterCard cardholders can benefit from it. Bank is also partnering with three wallet service providers (ApplePay, SamsungPay & AndroidPay) to improve coverage and ease of usage for its customers.

Verinite has been entrusted to support the host certification, regression testing and wallet certification on PowerCARD platform. Team will be responsible to prepare test strategy, test plan, test scenario’s and conduct end-to-end to ensure certification and comprehensive functional regression. Our previous experience of executing similar project in UAE (again on PowerCARD platform) was key reason for being chosen as the partner.

This is 2nd client win for Verinite in Kuwait and 13th client in GCC region. This win is another step towards to becoming a partner of choice for banks to support implementation of their turnkey cards technology / business initiatives.
