PowerCARD Busines Scenario & Test Case Repository
Verinite has created a repository of business scenarios and test cases for switch, credit, debit and prepaid card business. It covers V2 and V3.50 of all PowerCARD modules (e.g. switch, issuing, acquiring, fraud, mobile wallets etc.).
PowerCARD Test Automation Framework
Verinite has built a hybrid test automation framework (BDD compatible) to support test automation. This automation framework is integrated with multiple automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Appium, OATS, RestAssured etc.). The automation framework ensures expandability and ease of use.
Authorization simulator and performance testing tool (VSharp)
Verinite’s Vsharp tool supports on-us authorization testing from different channels. It also helps to do load and stress testing for authorization channels.

VisionPLUS to PowerCARD migration UAT
- A leading financial institution in the UAE planned to migrate its Cards processing platform.
- Verinite had to accommodate functional testing of 4 additional enhancements. Turnaround time for defects was more as well.
- Following ADEPT methodology, Verinite distributed the scope into 20 functional areas and created separate test plans for each functional area.
- We enabled bank set up proper configuration for UAT and Production, and executed first-time right ratio of 95%.
PowerCARD Test Automation for V3
- A prominent payment processor in the Middle East embarked upon several technology enhancement projects for its Core Card Management system (HPS PowerCARD) round the year.
- The project was challenging as the client used customized version of card management system, specifically developed to address the client’s business requirements.
- Our team analyzed business requirements and identified the functionalities ripe for automation.
- We delivered value by creating automation scripts for non PowerCARD functionalities.
PowerCARD MDES Certification & UAT
- A top financial institution in UAE planned to provide Digital Secure Payment Service via Samsung Pay and MasterCard Digital Enablement Service (MDES) to the Cardholder.
- We were supposed to conduct Regression testing of CMS Issuing along with Functional and MasterCard certification testing scope.
- Verinite conducted MasterCard Digital Enablement Service (MDES) offline. We also tested digitization with Samsung Pay for credit card products and Prepaid cards.
- We performed one round of regression testing of CMS Issuing host system and attained the first time right ratio of 100%.
PowerCARD Business Analysis Support
- A global travel and financial service wanted Verinite to conduct end-to-end Functional testing of PowerCard application.
- Both issuing and acquiring business were covered for functional testing.
- We understood the existing system in detail and documented important functionalities, while working on fundamental issues.
The BAU issue count was reduced by 75% during this engagement. We provided client a project-ready pool of resources.
