One of the pillars of Verinite is a tall, lanky guy trusted with the delivery of Verinite services to clients. Meet Debasis Mohanty, the Head of Delivery in the company.

Formative years

A product of NIT Rourkela, Debasis grew up looking to make a rewarding career in banking. One thing he was sure about is working in a company where he has got a prominent role in shaping up the enterprise.

Career journey

Debasish began his career as an on-site coordinator in Capgemini (June 2008). He went on to climb higher on the corporate ladder, riding as business analyst and then team lead. In Sept, 2011, he left Capgemini to join Verinite.

Getting into leadership

Hopping on Verinite as a project lead in October 2011, he rose there as well on his merit and became head of delivery in Feb 2015.

Verinite draws on Debasis’s experience as a technology and functional expert in financial services domain. Through his career, he has played multiple roles from a software developer to a technical architect to a program manager. This has endowed him with wealth of experience that he uses to do his job with aplomb in Verinite, taking care of managing delivery.

Debasis has managed projects for financial institutions across Middle East, India and South East Asia. He has been responsible for running a portfolio of projects across Card Management System, Switch, ATM, and POS. He has also led multiple initiatives involving pre-sales, solutioning, system implementation and system migration. This experience helps him to anticipate clients’ pain points better and provide proactive solutions during any technology initiatives.

A personal insight When Debasis is free, he can be seen traveling in Konkan, enjoying beach and seafood, or going on long drives
