A lean personality and a foodie, brimming with passion in whatever he does. This is Abhishek Mithal for you, heading one of the key business units at Verinite and responsible for building long lasting partnerships with customers to ensure steady customer success and business growth.

Formative years

An IIT Roorkee graduate in electrical engineering, Abhishek always looked forward to make a career for himself in software engineering. In the due course, he also earned certifications in business strategy, and strategic management from Wharton to gain business insight that would combine with his technical skills to give him a competitive edge in an ever-changing landscape.

Career journey

Fond of coding from an early age, Abhishek began his career in Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) as a software engineer. After a rewarding 5 year stint at TCS, Abhishek joined Attra in Bangalore where he spent the next 14+ years as part of the core leadership team that saw the company grow manifold.

In March 2022, Abhishek joined Verinite as business unit head, bringing to the company 19 years of solid experience in the Cards and Payments domain.

Getting into leadership

With a strong background in running large scale technology programs, business growth, delivery management, pre-sales & inside sales, large deal & proposal building, and learning & development, Abhishek felt he has the wherewithal to contribute towards the growth of a company in a leadership position.

Personal insight

Having worked and travelled extensively across the globe, Abhishek loves exploring new places and local food wherever he travels. He loves long and demanding hikes in the mountains and brings the same mental toughness and resilience to any work he undertakes. He is also passionate about wildlife photography and wishes to contribute towards nature and environment conservation in the long run.
